The Lower Tiers November Championship Player Of The Month Nominees

Find out which players stood out during November in the Championship as we’ve put together four players who shone throughout the month.

Yoann Barbet – Queens Park Rangers

The French centre back was a mainstay during QPR’s five league games in November.

Barbet put in a series of good performances and helped the club to three clean sheets during the month, conceding just twice.

These clean sheets have proved to be crucial as Queen Park Rangers have shot up to third in the Championship.

Ben Brereton Díaz – Blackburn Rovers

Ben Brereton has enjoyed an incredible season so far for Blackburn and he further added to his goal tally in November.

The Chilean international scored four goals during the month, attracting interest from Premier league club, Southampton.

The striker continues to make a name for himself and is showing no signs of slowing down. 

George Honeyman – Hull City

Honeyman has finally been given a run in the team and November saw him flourish.

The ex-Sunderland man scored three goals during the month and provided one assist as Hull City hit great form to pull themselves out of the relegation zone.

It’s certain that George Honeyman will play a key part in an attempt to climb up the Championship table following promotion from League One last season.  

Chris Willock – Queens Park Rangers

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder added three goals to his tally for the season during November as he proved how important he can be if QPR are to maintain their playoff spot.

Willock also provided one assist as The R’s remained unbeaten in November. QPR would be sitting in seventh place if it wasn’t for his goal contributions.

Definitely one of Mark Warburtons stand out players so far this season.
