League Two Fan’s Player Of The Season Nominees

Winners will be picked on Tuesday 26 April after the voting closes. This is an alternative to the standard EFL awards as it gives fan’s of the EFL an opportunity to vote for their own player of the season.

Here are the nominees:

Kane Wilson – Forest Green Rovers

Kane Wilson has been a valuable asset for Forest Green this season combining his mesmerising dribbling with his pinpont crossing to become the top assister in the league with 13 assists.

The 22 year-old has also chipped in defensively as well. Wilson has averaged just under 10 successful defensive actions every game this season.

Bristol City are rumoured to be interested in Kane Wilson but is sure to flourish in League One if he remains at Forest Green Rovers.

Dom Telford – Newport County

The Newport County striker has set the pace in League Two with 24 goals putting him within touching distance of the golden boot.

Dom Telford has proved to be vital in Newport’s race for promotion with an average of a goal every 117 minutes.

Louis Reed – Swindon Town

Midfield general Louis Reed pulls the strings for Swindon and looks to be getting better as the season goes on.

He’s a key player in the Robins’ style of play and has played the most successful passes in

League Two this season.

Timothee Dieng – Exeter City

An underrated player in Exeter City’s promotion campaign.

The Grecians look set to finally gain promotion to League One after nine seasons in League Two.

Dieng is a rock in the centre of midfield winning an average of 16 duels a game, Exeter wouldn’t be on the brink of promotion without this man.
