Rotherham picked up a remarkable 13 points from a possible 15 as they picked up four league wins in October.

The Millers currently sit in fourth place but remain just three points off top of the league, Wigan.

Their latest win was in impressive one. Rotherham convincingly beat promotion rival, Sunderland 5-1 which proved their ability this season.

Rotherham have won promotion in their previous three seasons in League One and are looking confident to do it again. 

Manager, Paul Warne has great experience of winning promotion to the Championship with Rotherham after winning the League One play-offs in 2018 and finishing runners-up in 2020.

Player of the month – James McClean

The Irish left-winger helped Wigan maintain their promotion charge with an impressive month for the club.

The 32 year old scored four goals as well as providing two assists in October.

His standout game was against Lancashire rivals, Bolton as we was involved in three of the four goals in a 4-0 demolition.
