EFL Transfer Rumours – Bradford City in Pursuit of Non-League Star as Swansea plan to raid MK Dons

The January transfer window is in full flow for EFL clubs as plenty of transfer rumours have surfaced. January is a huge month for EFL clubs as every team will look to strengthen to push for promotion, play offs and to strive off relegation.

Latest Transfer Rumours:

Bradford City have allegedly submitted a bid for Darlington’s star man, Luke Charman. Ex-Newcastle United youth prospect has set National League North on fire so far this season after bagging 11 goals in 15 appearances.

The fee is understood to be around £41,000 and Derek Adams is understood to be a huge admirer of Charman after the Bradford City manager was seen at Darlington’s National League North game at Spennymoor Town, a game which Luke Charman scored in.

Harrogate Town, Rochdale, Walsall and Barnet are also interested in the striker. Rochdale have also been scouting the striker as their current striker, Jake Beesley is said to be attracting interest from Blackpool.

Many Darlington fans rate Luke Charman much higher than £41,000 but with the 24 year olds contract expiring in the summer, it could be a realistic figure.

Swansea City are understood to be in talks with three MK Dons players.

The three players are expected to be Scott Twine, Andy Fisher and Matt O’Riley. However, MK Dons are very unlikely to let all three players leave the club this window.

Scott Twine could prove to be too expensive for Swansea to sign this window as the MK Dons star ma is destined for Championship football.

Twine has the most assists in League One this season with seven along with 11 league goals.

The attacking midfielder is only 22 years old and looks a very promising prospect for any Championship club.

MK Dons centre midfielder Matt O’Riley is also one of the players attracting interest from Swansea.

This move would be much more realistic and cheaper for the Swans.

The 21 year old has scored six goals as well as assisting four in League One this season and is the heartbeat in The Dons’ possession style of play.

Goalkeeper Andy Fisher is the final MK Dons player linked with Swansea City after the 23 year old has kept three clean sheets in League One this season, conceding 16 goals.

His stats aren’t amazing but he’s certainly a huge prospect for the future.

The 18 year old is attracting plenty of interest from clubs in the Premier League, Championship and from abroad.

He’s expected to leave this January for around £1 million in a deal that could help save the club financially but could also steer Oldham away from relegation if they reinvested some on the money in better players.

It’s likely that the Championship club in question is likely to be fairly local to Chesterfield with Sheffield United and Huddersfield Town rumoured to be interested.

The clinical striker has scored 18 goals in 20 National League appearances this season as he continues to impress.

Birmingham City are keen to sign Fulham defender Alfie Mawson.

A three and a half year deal as been put on the table as Lee Bowyer looks to bolster his backline even further after singing Manchester United’s Teden Mengi on loan.

Injuries have prevented Mawson from making an impact at Craven Cottage after he joined the club from Swansea in 2018 for a £15 million fee.

Bradford City have made a serious push to sign Hearts forward Jamie Walker.

The 28 year old has struggled for game time in this season in the Scottish Premiership making only four appearances, all from the bench.

Hearts are open to a loan or permanent transfer this month but Walker will be allowed to decide his own future.

Derek Adams is an admirer of the player but St Johnstone and Livingston are also interested.
